ABOUT ME
First of all, thank you for visiting me at Financial Freedom Pursuit.
It’s fantastic to have you here! Your support is invaluable, and honestly, this journey wouldn’t be the same without you. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of this.
My name is Omar, a 26-year-old Project Manager in the warehouse automation industry. Beyond my day job, I am fascinated with how money works. I also have a passion for fragrances, from collecting scents to spending quality sniffing time at Nordstrom’s fragrance section with my incredible wife.
Yes, I’m happily married to an extraordinary woman, and if you’ve noticed, all the photos on this site are from our wedding. That’s for your sake, so everyone walks away with less cringe.
While I don’t consider myself an anxious person, there’s one thing that does stir up anxiety for me – my finances. It’s not that they’re in terrible shape, but the thought that many of us are just a few steps away from financial ruin is unsettling. And it doesn’t have to be your fault.
A CEO could blindly lay off 20% of their company on a whim, even if the company hits record highs. And good luck finding a job in this job market before you can no longer afford your rent. That’s two steps away from homelessness.
Now, many people around me say I am dramatic (cough, my wife, cough cough), especially since that situation hasn’t happened to me. Yet, the more I see things like this happen, the more I realize I am not okay with someone else having full control of my and my family’s well-being. Life has made something very clear: I need to figure out my finances independently from my career.
And that’s where it started, my Pursuit of Financial Freedom.
"The best thing money can buy is financial freedom"
Rob Berger
So, I did what anyone in my position would do, I Googled it.
Bad idea. I got bombarded with either the promises of instant wealth from TikTok gurus claiming their “simple sales trick” would make me a fortune in seconds or real estate gurus telling me to buy and remodel duplex homes using other people’s money.
It feels like advice on achieving financial freedom online always comes in one of two extremes – those who seem clueless and those who are so far ahead on their journey, offering no guidance on how they got there.
That is where I hope FinancialFreedomPursuit.com comes in.
Here, I want to explore everything about the path to financial freedom, genuinely research and document ideas, processes, and steps I or others take to get to that goal. This includes personal finances, side hustles, setting up passive income streams, or diving straight into entrepreneurship.
If this resonates with you, then you are in the right place. Let’s go on this adventure together, navigating the path to financial freedom
